Cole Swindell has reached another milestone by adding his 13th top-ten entry on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his song “Forever to Me,” which climbed to No. 10 on the March 1-dated tally. The track saw a modest increase of 6%, totaling an audience impression of 17 million from February 14 to February 20, according to Luminate.
The Bronwood, Georgia native co-authored “Forever to Me” with Rocky Block and Greylan James. Additionally, the latter was involved in producing the song alongside Jordan M. Schmidt. The inspiration behind this track stems from Swindells personal life; he got married to his now-wife, Courtney, last June.
“Forever to Me” follows “Drinkaby,” which peaked at No. 13 on Country Airplay in August 2023. Prior to that achievement, Cole enjoyed a streak of four consecutive chart-topping hits. His hit She Had Me at Heads Carolina claimed his eighth top spot in September 2022 and dominated the charts for an impressive four weeks; “Never Say Never,” featuring Lainey Wilson, led the country airplay chart for two weeks in April 2022; “Single Saturday Night” reigned supreme for a total of two weeks beginning in July 2021; and Love You Too Late ruled the charts for one week back in November 2019.
Previously, Cole Swindell had topped the Country Airplay chart with songs like “Middle of a Memory” (one week, November 2016), “You Should Be Here” (three weeks, April 2016), “Aint Worth the Whiskey” (one week, April 2015), and Hope You Get Lonely Tonight (one week, October 2014). His career reached its first top-ten entry with his debut hit “Chillin It,” which peaked at No. 2 in 2014.
Elsewhere on the charts, Jelly Rolls “Liar” maintains its lead atop Country Airplay for a second week, achieving a reach of 30.4 million (an increase of less than one percent). Amongst his seven number-one entries since debuting in 2022, four have led the country airplay chart for multiple weeks, including “Need a Favor,” which held the top spot for a personal-best four consecutive weeks starting from August 2023.
