Their latest collaboration, “Luther,” from Lamar’s album GNX, hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned Lamar his sixth No. 1 single and SZA her third. The track’s title honors R&B legend Luther Vandross, whose sample is featured in the song.

“Luther” replaced “Not Like Us,” a diss track against Drake, at the top of the Hot 100 chart just one week prior, after it gained momentum during their Super Bowl halftime performance. SZA was also part of that set as an unexpected guest.
