Content Calibre 50 Continues Top Performance on Local Mexican Charts with ‘El Sueño Americano’

Calibre 50 has achieved a remarkable milestone by landing their 27th No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with the song “El Sueño Americano.” This accomplishment was recorded in the March 1-dated tally, marking an impressive advancement as the track moved from position two to number one for its first week at the top.

“El Sueño Americano” not only secured Calibre 50’s place on top of Regional Mexican Airplay but also earned a significant audience reach. According to Luminate, the song garnered 6.3 million impressions in the United States during the Feb. 14-20 tracking week—a notable improvement of 15% compared to its previous week.

With this achievement, Calibre 50 remains unparalleled as the group with the most No. 1 hits on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart since it began in 1994. Banda MS follows closely behind with a total of 21 top spots.

In addition to their Regional Mexican Airplay triumph, Calibre 50 has extended their record for the most top ten entries among regional Mexican acts on Billboard’s overall Latin Airplay chart. The song “El Sueño Americano” climbed from position thirteen to nine, making its first appearance in the top ten with 6.7 million impressions during the same tracking week.

The single serves as the title track of Calibre 50’s album “El Sueño Americano,” which was released on December 2024 through Disa/Andaluz. It’s worth noting that the set has yet to appear on any charts.
